Nerdcore Reddit in shambles?

Someone random fan named "rzm61", who seems to have started the sub, had a moment this week and decided to silence any and all other competing voices by removing mod power from every other moderator but themselves (including some genuinely decent ppl, like Beefy). Seems like kind of a power hungry dick move, but let's see how it plays out:

I created this subreddit.

I am not a fan of how the moderation team has been handling things.

They have been purged.

Don't like it.

Go start your own r/nerdcore.

Seems like he/she should have been happy that anyone was even willing to help out and mod. But instread, this doesn't really come across as happy camper, in fact I'd file this more under "I'm leaving and taking my ball too" kind of power tripping territory...

I mean, if my posts weren't getting deleted, then I doubt any decent ones were. But what is nerdcore without a touch of drama?

Yeah, it's a bit odd. Nerdcore Now was pretty heavily over-modded, and that ultimately lead to no one but a small handful of loyalists posting there and ultimately the end of that site. But I would have imagined that someone like Beefy, who seems to be a fairly even keeled guy and who was a mod at the nchh sub, wouldn't have gone overboard. So it's weird that even he got the boot.
